THE CUSTOMER
The customer is a society of gas distribution whose network of supply is extended for more than 450 Km,
serving 48 municipalities and supplying more than 53 million cubic meters of methane.
Next to the primary activity of gas distribution and sale, new initiatives have been placed (with the birth of affiliated companies)
as the management of thermal power plants and the management of gas piping systems.
THE REQUIREMENT
Considering the increase of consumers and the diversification of managed activities, the customer felt the necessity to equip itself
with an informative system able to replace, and unify, the different programs in use that managed, without any link or connection,
book-keeping and front desk activities.
At this purpose, the customer asked C System to develop a platform that would allow to integrate all business processes
(book-keeping, desk activities, user records management, lacings, maintenance and call centre)
and that would guarantee desk procedures timeliness and use flexibility.
THE SOLUTION
The solution developed by C System allows to manage, on a single system, all business processes:
- Desk activities (Practices, Contracts and Customer Relationship Management)
- Billing and Book-keeping
- Distribution network management (Systems, Lacings, Accounts, Counters)
- Warehouse and Projects
- Call centre and Online Desk
With the aim to optimize system speed and use simplicity (extremely critical factors for desk operators),
during system development, a particular attention has been focused on system usability and ergonomy:
the program is simply and user-friendly, the form structure is unique for all operative procedures, and where procedures were too complex,
Wizards have been developed to drive the user through an operative workflow defined with the customer.
The software is at the status of the art both for applicative solutions and technologies used for the development, and for the respect of laws.
The software has been built in the respect of all dispositions issued by Energy and Gas Authority regarding liberalizations, flexibility, fares options and business division among sale and distribution.
Considering the continuous evolving of the regulatory context, the product is continually updated to be aligned with new laws and decrees.
